The confirmed date for the 2024 shoot is Sunday 7th July. Entries are now open.
The event started back in 2008 to raise a bit of money for the neo-natal unit at St James Hospital in Leeds. Thanks to the generosity of our competitors, sponsors, friends and families, since starting in 2008 we have so far raised an incredible total of £250,000.
For 2024 we once again chose to donate the proceeds to Support Dogs UK an organisation based in the county which provides specialist trained dogs to assist adults with epilepsy and physical disability and children with autism.
Our teams had a great day at our clay shoot of simulated game flushes totaling 500 targets over six stands. Congratulations to our winning Men's Team, Cotherstone Estate, who won with an impressive score of 493 and to our winning Ladies Team, Mother Pluckers, who won with a score of 379.
